Petrojet sets a new record of safe working hours at Zohr field

CAIRO – 3 May 2018: Egyptian Petroleum Company, Petrojet, set a new record of 35 million safe working hours at Zohr gas field in the Mediterranean Sea.

Chairman of Petrojet Company, Waleed Moustafa, received on Wednesday an appreciation certificate from Egyptian Petrobel Company for Petrojet’s performance at Zohr field.

The achievement came due to the workers’ commitment to global safety standards; they managed to work 35 million hours at the field’s site without a single accident, according to a Petrojet’s statement.

The company’s statement praised Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek el-Molla for his support for Petrojet at all the projects assigned to it, including Zohr field.
