FILE- Employees in the EGX following performance of the trading session
CAIRO - 26 April 2023: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performance at the end of Wednesday's trading session which is the first after vacations of Eidul Fitr and the anniversary of liberating Sinai.
The market capital reached nearly LE 1.129 trillion, after transactions that hit approximately LE 2.5 billion.
The EGX 30 benchmark index dropped 0.36 percent, closing at 17,452.22 points.
The broader EGX 70 EWI index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) went up by 0.72 percent, ending at 3,013.56 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also up by 0.64 percent, closing at 4,578.64 points.
