Vietnam expresses interest to invest in Egypt's SCzone

CAIRO – 29 November 2022: Head of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCzone) Walid Gamal El Din received Tuesday a Vietnamese parliamentary delegation in Cairo expressing aspiration to cooperate in the sectors of high-tech industries, and automotive feeding and complementary industries.

In that context, the SCzone head pointed out to the automotive complex eastern Port Said which was established to localize the industry in Egypt. He also presented the incentives offered to investors, and underscored the zone's connection with six ports on the Mediterranean and the Red Sea, which are in turn linked with other industrial cities.

On his side, the Vietnamese deputy Speaker expressed interest to invest in the SCzone, and establish vocational training centers in collaboration with the zone's authority.
