All EGX indices down, benchmark declines 1.67%

CAIRO - 2 November 2022: Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices went down collectively at the close of Wednesday's trading amid sales by some segments of investors.
 
The market capital closed at LE 762.9 billion after transactions totaled approximately LE 1.7 billion.
 
The EGX 30 benchmark index declined 1.67 percent, standing at 11,242.07 points.
 
The broader EGX 70 EWI of the leading small and medium enterprises (SMEs) decreased 1.3 percent, recording 2,225.61 points.
 
The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also down 1.33 percent, registering 3,242.78 points.
