CAIRO - 5 October 2022:The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices showed mixed performance at the close of Wednesday's trading amid purchases from Egyptian and Arab institutions and investment funds.
Meanwhile, sales prevailed in transactions of foreign institutions and local investors.
The market capital gained nearly LE 3.4 billion, registering LE 694.1 billion after transactions totaled approximately LE 1.5 billion.
The EGX 30 benchmark index increased 0.88 percent, hitting 10,010.78 points.
The broader EGX 70 EWI of the leading small and medium enterprises (SMEs) decreased 0.61 percent, recording 2,215.49 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index also declined 0.35 percent, closing at 3,156.68 points
