AMMAN - 28 September 2022: Chairman of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) Mohamed Bin Obaid Al Mazrooei hailed decisions taken by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi concerning facilitating and accelerating measures to attract Arab and foreign investors to invest in Egypt.

In exclusive statements to MENA on the sidelines of the Jordanian-Guld investment conference currently being held in Amman, Mazrooei said that Sisi had paved the way to pump more investments in Egypt.

He added that Sisi’s directives that were announced on Tuesday reflected his keenness to attract more investments to Egypt.

Since Sisi assumed Egypt’s presidency, Egypt has become a hub for Arab and foreign investors, Mazrooei added.

He pointed out that Egypt is now a promising environment for investment especially after Sisi paved the way for investors through entrenching security and stability in Egypt as well as establishing mega projects in the infrastructure sectors including roads and transportation.

He also noted that a new headquarters for the AAAID will be opened in Cairo to encourage agriculture and livestock investments in Egypt.
