CAIRO -  8 June 2022: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices went up collectively at the close of Wednesday's trading, pushed by purchases from local and Arab institutions and investment funds.
 
Meanwhile, sales prevailed in transactions of Egyptian investors and foreign institutions.
 
The market capital gained nearly LE 9.8 billion, registering LE 673.3 billion after transactions totaled some LE 2 billion.
 
The EGX 30 benchmark index rose 1.87 percent, recording 10,236.06 points.
 
The broader EGX 70 EWI of the leading small and medium enterprises (SMEs) jumped 3.14 percent, hitting 1,837.15 points.
 
The all-embracing EGX 100 index also climbed 2.84 percent, closing at 2,742.97 points.
