CAIRO - 5 June 2022: Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performance at the close of Sunday's trading session, amid selling operations by Arab and foreign institutions, against purchase operations by local institutions and investment funds, as well as Arab investors.
 
The market capital gained nearly LE 200 million, ending at LE 659.9 billion amid transactions that totaled LE 3.1 billion.
 
The EGX 30 benchmark index went down by 0.21 percent, closing at 9,968 points.
 
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) went up by 1.02 percent, ending at 1,753.64 points.
 
The all-embracing EGX 100 rose by 0.79 percent at closing to stand at 2,629.4 points.
