Bourse indexes show mixed performance at closing session

CAIRO - 2 June 2022: Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performance at the close of Thursday's trading session, amid purchases by local institutions and investment funds and profit-taking operations by Arab and foreign investment funds.

 

The market capital hit LE 659.7 billion amid transactions that totaled LE 1 billion.

 

The EGX 30 benchmark index went down by 0.76 percent, closing at 10,007.51 points.

 

The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) went up by 0.54 percent, ending at 1,735.91 points.

 

The all-embracing EGX 100 rose by 0.45 percent at closing to stand at 2,608.67 points.
