CAIRO - 11 April 2022: Head of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Mohamed Abdel Wahab has expressed his organization's keenness on pursuing cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Investment to attract more investments and boost relations between businessmen from the two countries.
 
This came during a meeting Abdel Wahab held with Jordanian Minister of Investment Khairy Amr to explore investment chances and exchange viewpoints on the investment climate in the two countries.
 
They discussed joint plans to achieve investment cooperation in line with the outcome of agreements reached during the 30th session of the Egyptian-Jordanian higher committee which wrapped up proceedings in February.
 
Abdel Wahab hailed the success of the Jordanian companies working in Egypt whose number increased to 2,400, saying the Jordanian companies played a positive role in increasing growth and development rates in both countries.
 
For his part, the Jordanian minister hailed the economic development Egypt witnessed saying the two countries have major chances for increasing economic cooperation and investments.
