CAIRO - 17 March 2022: Trade and Industry Minister Nivine Gamea stressed keenness on enhancing cooperation with all Arab economic entities to contribute to national economic development.
 
She underlined the importance of the Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (Dhaman) in incentivizing investment in Arab countries and boosting Arab exports.
 
She made the remarks during a meeting on Thursday with Abdullah A. Alsabeeh, Dhaman Director General.
 
The talks tackled the role played by Dhaman in supporting economic development efforts in Arab countries.
 
For his part, Alsabeeh reviewed the role played by the corporation in luring capital flow into Arab countries, supporting foreign trade and boosting exports in addition to buttressing social and economic development efforts.
 
The Arab Investment & Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (Dhaman) is a pioneer multinational organization that has provided guarantee services against commercial and non-commercial risks for the last four decades.
 
Established in April 1974 in Kuwait as the first multilateral investment guarantee provider in the world, Dhaman is owned by the governments of Arab states and 4 Arab financial institutions. Dhaman is highly rated by S&P since 2008, reflecting both Dhaman’s very strong business and financial profiles.
