She made the remarks during a video-conference session on better reconstruction for achieving sustainable development goals, held within the framework the Arab Forum for Sustainable Development 2022, which is organized by the the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).

She said the state has laid down sustainability guidelines for the government and the private sector, noting that about 30 percent of the projects in the current fiscal year will be green with the aim to up the percentage to 40 in the coming fiscal year and reach the aspired 50 percent in 2024-2025.

She noted that the economic reforms adopted by Egypt offered a chance for injecting more investments during the pandemic crisis, noting that the rise in communications and IT sector investments hit 300 percent, while in the health and education 100 percent.

She added that Egypt has managed to realize high growth rates during the pandemic crisis.
