Egypt to chair AMCE Executive Bureau in Doha

CAIRO - 6 March 2022: Egypt would chair the 37th meeting of the Executive Bureau of the Arab Ministerial Council of Electricity (AMCE) in the Qatari capital, Doha on March 19.

 

The executive bureau's meeting would be followed by the 14th edition of the Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity on March 20.

 

In this regard, Jamila Matar, the director of the energy department at the Arab League (AL) said that Arab electricity ministers would discuss the progress made in establishing a common Arab market for electricity and developing a regional pricing mechanism, as well as the possibility of adopting a green hydrogen strategy
