Eastern Company announces raising prices of its cigarettes

CAIRO  - 1 March 2022: The Board of Directors of the Eastern Company - Eastern Company, approved the new prices for the consumer sale price on the company's cigarette products.
 
The company explained in a statement, Tuesday, that the price of the item Box 10 was raised to LE 11.5, Cleopatra King Sizes to LE 18.5, Cleopatra Soft Queen to LE 19, and Boston / Belmont to LE 19.5.
 
The company also raised the price of the item Cleopatra Box (white - colors) to LE 20, Cleopatra Super to LE 21, Mondial to LE 21, Mondial Switch to LE 24, Cleopatra Black to LE 24, and Matossian Super to LE 24.
 
During the first half of the fiscal year 2021-2022, Eastern Company achieved profits of LE 2.92 billion during the period from July to last December, compared to profits of LE 2.538 billion in the comparable period of the last fiscal year.
 
The company's revenues rose during the period to LE 8.53 billion, compared to revenues of LE 8.16 billion in the comparable period of the last fiscal year.
 
Eastern Co. operates within the food, beverage and tobacco sector focusing on tobacco. It was established in July 1920.
