World Bank: Egyptian economy steadfast in face of pandemic

CAIRO - 23 February 2022: The World Bank said the Egyptian economy is steadfast in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, thanks to economic reforms.

 

This came one year and a half after the outbreak of the pandemic in addition to reforms of the Egyptian energy sector over the past few years.

 

An infograph - published on the social media page of the cabinet media center on Wednesday - showed that financial facilities and support for some sectors have contributed to the steadfastness of the Egyptian economy.

 

It added that Egypt enjoys a high-level digital transformation level, noting that Egypt is proceeding with its efforts to handle economic challenges.
