Trade exchange between Egypt, Brazil increases to $2.5B in 2021

CAIRO - 13 February 2022: Trade and Industry Minister Nevine Gamae said Sunday that the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Brazil upped during 2021 by 30 percent, amounting to some $2.5 billion .
 
In 2020, the volume of trade exchange between the two countries reached $1.9 billion, Gamea said after receiving a report from the Egyptian commercial office in São Paulo.
 
The report focused on the development of Egyptian exports to Brazil, pointing out that it reached $542 million last year; up 155.4 percent from $212 million in 2020.
