Bourse makes limited gains at end of Sunday's trading

CAIRO - 26 December 2021: The Egyptian Exchange indexes posted limited gains at the close of Sunday's trading, backed by purchases by local and Arab institutions and investment funds, while several individual investors scrambled to settle their financial positions before the end of 2021.
 
The market capital gained just LE 2.8 billion to reach LE 751.1 billion, after transactions that hit LE 3.3 billion.
 
The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 0.84 percent to close at 11,856.21 points.
 
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) rose by 0.31 percent to stand at 2,197.89 points.
 
Meanwhile, the all-embracing EGX 100 index increased by 0.37 percent, ending at 3,244.44 points.
