CAIRO - 6 December 2021: Four companies will be offered on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) before the end of 2021, Deputy Minister of Finance for Financial Policies, Ahmed Kojak, said Monday.
This came during the activities of the second day of the CEO Conference.
In November, the Egyptian Finance Minister, Mohamed Maait, announced that the government's initial public offering (IPO) program will witness a new offering during November, as part of the state's goal of transferring its ownership to the private sector.
In June, the head of the Egyptian Stock Exchange expected about 4-5 private companies to be listed in the capital market in the second half of this year.
