CAIRO - 24 November 2021: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli discussed Wednesday with the board members of Coca-Cola Hellenic the company's plans to pump investments worth one billion dollars into the Egyptian market within the coming 5 years, shortly after acquiring Coca Cola Egypt.
Representatives of Coca-Cola Egypt attended the talks.
Madbouli highlighted the government’s eagerness to provide all kinds of support to the private sector, due to its key role in creating new jobs and boosting the state’s economic growth.
The premier praised the successful and prolonged investments of Coca-Cola in Egyptian market, and welcomed the acquisition of the Swiss-based soft drinks bottler of Coca-Cola Egypt, a deal that reflects the confidence of the global company in the Egyptian economy due to the balanced economic and fiscal policies implemented by the government.
Hailing the acquisition deal, Madbouli said it could be a positive step for Coca-Cola Hellenic in the Egyptian market, deemed as one of the largest markets in Africa.
