CAIRO – 9 September 2021: The regional representative of the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Egypt, Alfredo Abad, stressed that the experience of the Ministry of International Cooperation in matching development finances with the sustainable development goals is a unique methodology, praising what Minister of International Cooperation, Rania Al-Mashat, presented in this regard.

 

This came during his participation in the first workshop, within the activities of the second day of the Egypt International Cooperation Forum, Egypt-ICF, which discussed “Egypt’s experience in matching development finances with the sustainable development goals” with the participation of a group of the most prominent international institutions and major international and regional financial institutions, and multilateral and bilateral development partners, representatives of the private sector and civil society, countries of the African continent and the region.

 

On Wednesday, the activities of the Egypt ICF were launched, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with the participation of several ministries.

 

The forum is attended by high-level government representatives from Africa, Europe and Latin America, heads of international and regional financial institutions and representatives of the private sector and civil society.
