Egypt to introduce international yacht harbor in Sharm El Sheikh

CAIRO – 5 August 2021: Governor of South Sinai Khaled Fouda stated in a phone-in Thursday that an international yacht harbor will be accomplished in Sharm El Sheikh within two years.

That is in alignment with endeavors to encourage yacht tourism to Egypt capitalizing on the vast coasts the country has on the Mediterranean and the Red Sea.  

On July 4, Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled El-Enani held a preparatory meeting to follow up on the efforts deployed to revitalize yacht tourism, analyzing the obstacles facing it and discussing ways to solve them.
