CAIRO – 3 August 2021:  The Egyptian Exchange Foundation for Sustainable Development Board of Trusties adopted a financial assistance package for the development of Egyptian society directed to a number of NGOs and hospitals to promote their community activities, in support of the strategy adopted by the Egyptian state to achieve comprehensive development for all Egyptians, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced Tuesday.

 

It added that the meeting discussed the foundation's strategic plan, aiming to support the efforts of the Egyptian government for the society’s development through providing support to “A decent life” initiative.

 

The foundation’s board of trusties also agreed to proceed with the reconciling of its status in accordance with Law No. 149 of 2019 and its executive regulations issued in January 2021, according to EGX.

 

The list of NGOs and hospitals benefiting from financial allocations includes The Ahl Al-Masr Hospital, Shubra Al Khair Foundation, Ain Shams University Hospitals and participate in the establishment of schools in cooperation with the Egypt Al Khair Foundation.

 

The new Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Exchange Foundation for Sustainable Development includes;  Mohammed Farid, Chairman of EGX & the Foundation, and the membership of Rasha Ragheb, Executive Director of the National Training Academy of Egypt (NTA), Engineer Sarah Al Batouti, member of the Presidential Advisory Council for Sustainable Development, Yahya Abul Fotouh, Vice Chairman of the National Bank of Egypt, Lamis Najm, Advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, Mona Zulfikar, Co-Founder of Zulfiqar Office, Wajih Amin, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mohammed Abdul Aziz, Secretary General and Mohammed Yahya, Treasurer.
