Guinea investment official recommends reliance on African financing in light of low FDI due to COVID-19

CAIRO - 13 June 2021: Managing Director of Investment Promotion Agency of Guinea (APIP-GUINEA) Namory Camara estimated Sunday in IPAs Africa Forum that FDI will be very low in the coming years because of COVID-19 repercussions recommending reliance on African investors , particularly the African diaspora that can play a major role in securing financing for projects. 
 
IPAs Africa Forum 1 kicked off in Egypt’s Sharm El Sheikh having as slogan “Growth for Integration.” The forum is the first of its kind and is taking place on June 11-14 with the participation of ministers and chairpersons of investment promotion authorities at 34 African countries.
