This step is also in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 and the country's digital transformation strategy, the Finance Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

Nearly 84,000 citizens submitted their property registration statements this year through the "Digital Egypt" platform within only three weeks, the minister noted.

He further noted that a new package of electronic services for real estate taxes will be launched through this platform, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
