CAIRO - 24 APRIL 2020: President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi made a phone call with Sudanese Transitional Military Council Chairman Abdel Fatah al-Burhan, greeting him on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic Calendar when Muslims worldwide fast from dusk to dawn.

Both leaders exchanged greetings on the occasion of the holy month, said Egyptian spokesperson Bassam Radi in a statement on Thursday.

Two leaders tackled a number of regional and international issues, beside the bilateral relations, Radi continued.

On January 17, 2020, President Sisi received a phone call from Burhan to discuss the developments of a number of regional issues of common interest, especially talks on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam and the Libyan crisis. The two leaders agreed on the need to continue intensive consultation and joint coordination in this regard.
