Sultan of Oman receives message from Sisi on Ethiopian dam talks

CAIRO, March 11 (MENA) - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Wednesday handed over a message from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Sultan of Oman Haytham bin Tariq Al Saeed on the recent developments in the Ethiopian dam talks.

Shoukry handed over the message at a meeting with the Sultan of Oman during his current visit to Oman, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez.

Shoukry conveyed the greetings of President Sisi to the Sultan of Oman and his hope for more cooperation between the two countries, added the spokesman.

Also, Shoukry conveyed an invitation from President Sisi to Sultan Haytham to visit Egypt in the nearest opportunity, the spokesman pointed out.

The Sultan of Oman confirmed his country's stance supporting Egypt regarding the Ethiopian dam talks, added the spokesman.
