CAIRO – 15 July 2017: Local and international entities expressed on Friday condemnation of the terrorist attacks that took place recently in Egypt.

Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb has strongly denounced the attack, confirming Al-Azhar’s long-standing position on rejecting violence and terror acts that aim at undermining Egypt’s security and stability. He also expressed support for the Egyptian police and army and called on them “to continue confronting everyone behind these cowardly terror attacks.”
