CAIRO - 25 September 2022: The Hayah Karima (Decent Life) Foundation announced Saturday the launch of an initiative dubbed "Back to Learning" to support students of families most in need by paying their school fees and offering them school supplies.

The initiative covers a total of 40,000 students in 25 governorates nationwide, the foundation revealed in a statement, noting that it had been launched shorty before the start of the new school year in pursuance of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to address the needs of the most vulnerable households.

During a meeting with representatives of the General Secretariat at the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, a delegation from the foundation discussed the steps to be taken to implement the initiative.

The initiative involves paying school fees for 20,000 students from economically disadvantaged families, and securing school supplies for another 20,000 students who are exempted form paying school fees, the foundation pointed out.
