CAIRO - 11 June 2022: Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli said Saturday that the government would continue its efforts to implement the project of developing the countryside, launched as part of the presidential Decent Life initiative, despite the current challenges it is facing due to the global economic slowdown.

The Russian-Ukrainian war has had a negative spillover effect on the entire world, including Egypt, but “our economic reform program has made our economy more resilient” in the face of challenges and external shocks, Madbouli said during his inspection tour in Dakahlia governorate to follow up on under-construction development projects in its rural areas.

“We are following up on the progress rate in the projects being implemented in Dakahlia governorate, to expedite their completion to quickly improve the quality of life of all locals,” the premier said.

Madbouli on Saturday inspected projects to establish a government services complex and an agricultural services complex in a Dakahlia village.

During the tour, he directed the bodies concerned to ensure that services are provided at the highest level.
