CAIRO - 16 April 2022: The Ministry of Youth and Sports and Mawaddah Foundation for developing the mosques of Ahl Al-Bayt (family members of Prophet Mohamed) have signed a joint memorandum of understanding to implement sustainable development programs at El Emamein and el Tounsi youth center near El Sayeda Eisha Mosque in Cairo.


The sighing ceremony was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi and Dr Ali Gomaa, the chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mawaddah Foundation and head of the House of Representatives' Religious Affairs and Endowments Committee.

The sports minister said this cooperation is aimed at qualifying and honing the skills of the residents of the areas surrounding Ahl Al-Bayt mosques as per the presidential initiative to build the character of the Egyptian citizen as well as Decent Life initiative which is aimed to upgrade the living standards of the citizens at all levels.

Meanwhile, Gomaa thanked the sports minister for the services he provides for the young people and the new generations in a way that benefits the Egyptian community.

The MoU stipulated developing and training the residents of the area located in the vicinity of El Sayeda Eisha Mosque via providing awareness-raising activities and social, health and educational services for them at El Emamein and el Tounsi youth center.
