What is Decent Life's 'Your Profession Your Future' initiative

CAIRO – 5 September 2021: As job creation is part of Decent Life goals, "Your Profession Your Future" initiate has been designed for that purpose.

The initiative is technical training caravans teaching rural residents skills of sewing, plumbing, and electricity works.

The Ministry of Social Solidarity has also collaborated with the World Food Programme (WFP) to launch a website dubbed "The Hands of Egypt" to better market handicrafts made by Egyptian villagers.

Minister of Local Development Mahmoud Shaarawy had previously stated that 52,000 temporary jobs were created for villagers working in the ongoing construction and infrastructure works in their respective villages.

The minister added that 856 locations had been selected to establish small and medium enterprises, and 317 others for industrial complexes. Those wishing to found enterprises there will be given marketing courses to start their businesses.
