CAIRO – 5 March 2021: The Egyptian flag carrier EgyptAir ordered suspending flights with the port city of Casablanca, Morocco starting Friday until further notice, based on the Moroccan authorities’ instructions.

Morocco has suspended flights with numerous countries as part of the precautionary measures to curb the spread of the pandemic.

The Moroccan suspension decision is set to extend until 21 March.

Morocco has so far reported 485,147 coronavirus cases and 8,669 deaths.

Morocco started its vaccination campaign against coronavirus late in January, successfully vaccinating around 3.8 million people.
