CAIRO – 28 February 2021: The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned Sunday continuous Houthi terror attacks on the territories of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The latest of which is targeting the capital, Riyadh, by a ballistic missile, and southern the country by bombs that would be dropped by six drones. However, the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen was able to repel all attacks successfully early on Sunday.

"Egypt affirms its solidarity with Saudi Arabia, and its constant support to the measures it takes to preserve its security and stability in the face of such terror attacks that violate international law and pose a clear threat to regional security and stability," the statement released by the Egyptian foreign ministry reads.

In January, Egypt strongly condemned an attack launched by Houthi militias on a border village in Saudi Arabia's southern Jazan region, leaving three persons including two children injured.
