CAIRO – 4 February 2021: Legal Counsel of the African Union Namira Negm announced Thursday that Egypt was re-elected member of the African Conference Bureau for the year 2021 representing North Africa.

 

The bureau is typically headed by the state chairing the African Union, which is currently South Africa that also houses its headquarters, and will be Democratic Congo in a few days.

 

The members of the bureau represent the five regions of the continent that are North, South, East, West, and Central.
