CAIRO – 31 January 2021: Egyptian laborers in Jordan would receive coronavirus vaccine for free, like Jordanian people, said Jordanian Minister of Labor and Minister of State for Investment Affairs Maen Al-Qatamin on Sunday.
 
In special remarks to Youm7, he added that Jordan pays more attention to on non-Jordanian workers in the Kingdom. 
 
The Jordanian minister affirmed that the Egyptian workers who abide by the laws, regulations, and instructions are respected and appreciated in Jordan for their roles in various sectors.
 
On January 18, 2020, a military plane loaded with urgent medical aid took off from Egypt heading to the Jordanian capital-Amman. The large shipment of medicines and medical supplies, which were prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Population, aims to support the Jordanian people in confronting the spread of the coronavirus.
 
According to a statement by Egypt’s Ministry of Defense, this step comes per the instructions of President Sisi to support friendly Arab countries, and affirm the solidarity and full cooperation with them in the face of pandemic crises.
