CAIRO – 22 January 2021: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi paid an inspection visit to the Police Academy, where he was briefed on the cadets’ training system that has been devised according to the latest international security training programs and methods, at Friday dawn, according to a statement from the Egyptian Presidency.

 
The President inspected the various training fields at the Academy, besides visiting the tactical village in which cadets are trained to raid the hideouts of terrorists and outlaws; it is the most recent village in police academies at the regional and international levels, the statement added.

“His Excellency also looked over the cavalry at the Academy. Cadets are trained in equestrian sports, in light of the Ministry of Interior's keenness to maximize its integrated capabilities in this field. Thus, veterinary units, a veterinary hospital and an equestrian training club were established according to the latest international levels in order to serve the affairs of the Ministry of Interior and civilians,” the statement read.

“After that, President El-Sisi had breakfast with the cadets, during which he listened to their concerns and had a conversation with them. Finally, His Excellency checked on their well-being, wishing them success in the new life ahead of them,” the statement continued.

During his tour, President Sisi talked with a lady, who is a mother of a student at the academy. Then he hugged her and kissed her head.
