CAIRO – 14 January 2021: The Egyptian Air Academy received ISO certifications from the IAS-Aviation Academy and the Egyptian Armed Forces organized a ceremony Wednesday to celebrate the event.

 

The ceremony was attended by Air Force Commander Mohamed Abbas Helmy, Associate to Minister of Defense and Military Production Medhat al-Nahas, and a number of senior commanders of the Egyptian Armed Forces as well as military attaches of certain countries. That is in addition to former chiefs of the academy and current presidents of Egyptian universities.

 

Egyptian Armed Forces announced Egyptian Air Force managed to kill 25 Takfiris in North Sinai, while destroying 437 terrorist hideouts on the northeastern direction during the period from September 1, 2020 to December 8, according to the statement.

 

The Armed Forces announced that the Air Force succeeded in launching a preemptive air strike focused on the western strategic way, where it destroyed 21 four-wheel drive vehicles laden with weapons and ammunition during the same period of the crackdown.

 

The statement also announced arresting 1,448 individuals over attempted illegal immigration in the western strategic direction of the area.
