CAIRO - 24 December 2020: The Egyptian Ministry of Immigration is following up on the situation of the stranded nationals abroad after many countries suspended flights over the third strain of Coronavirus that emerged in UK. 
 
A number of countries, including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, announced closing their borders as part of precautionary measures to confront the emerging Coronavirus (COVID-19). 
 
The Ministry called on citizens who are temporarily "transit" and on their way to Kuwait, to register their data to facilitate communication with them. 
 
The Ministry of Immigration also called on Egyptians to show solidarity with the stranded travelers, within the framework of the initiative "Let us support one another", to help and support Egyptians stranded abroad.
