CAIRO - 24 December 2020: Egypt is mulling to incorporate Wi-Fi service in air-conditioned trains, according to official sources at Egypt's Railways Authority. 

The authority will coordinate with the Ministry of Telecommunications and security authorities in this regard, to expedite the introduction of the service.  

The aim behind adding the service is to meet the travelers' wishes and achieve revenues as well. 
 
The Railway Authority continues to implement an expanded campaign to disinfect and sterilize trains and stations to combat the spread of Coronavirus, as part of the Ministry of Transport precautionary measures to maintain trains and stations clean, with posters posted in stations and trains to raise awareness of the virus, its symptoms and how to act in case a passenger feels possible symptoms of the virus.
 
The leaflets that were posted inside stations and trains defined suspected cases as anyone suffering from a high temperature of up to 38 degrees Celsius or more, in addition to the presence of a cough, or any contact with a confirmed case of the emerging corona virus.
