Egypt’s Dar al-Iftaa’s Observatory warns of ISIS attacks during Christmas celebrations

CAIRO – 19 December 2020: Egypt’s fatwa observatory at Dar al-Ifta’ warned of possible attacks could be carried out by the Islamic State terrorist group during the celebrations of Christmas.
 
In a statement on Saturday, the observatory said that the IS group published a message titled “Graceless against Infidels,” calling upon its lone wolves to carry out attacks during the celebrations of Christmas.
 
The statement added that the terrorist group recently resorted again to their lone wolves to launch attacks as it was happened several European countries like France and Austria in last October and November.
 
Since its emergence in 2014, the IS terrorist group has adopted certain methods to launch its attacks across the world, using their lone wolves with who it communicates virtually via the End-to-end encrypted messages.
 
Although the IS group was eliminated by the international Coalition against the terrorism since March 2019, several political experts warned of the group’s emergence, which because clear in some African countries.
