Egyptian community in France welcomes Sisi's upcoming visit to Paris

CAIRO - 6 December 2020: The General Association of the Egyptian community in France said in a Sunday statement that it welcomes President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's official visit to Paris.

The association underlined that the Egyptian expats in France support President Sisi's steps to maintain the country's national security.

It also highlighted the importance of the visit in tackling many issues of common interest in the economic and cultural domains in light of the distinguished relations between the two countries.

The General Association of the Egyptian community in France, as a civil society organization, pledged that the Egyptian popular diplomacy in France with its various components of associations, personalities, men, women and youth of different classes will always work in preserving relations between the two countries, spreading awareness and fighting hostile media and misinformation.

It should be noted that President Sisi headed to Paris on Sunday on an official visit upon an invitation from his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. Sisi's visit comes as part of the two countries' keenness on developing their strategic relations as well as holding talks on means of boosting standing ties in the coming phase.
