Egyptian Ambassador to Canada Ahmed Abu Zeid
OTTAWA - 3 December 2020: Egyptian Ambassador to Canada Ahmed Abu Zeid held a virtual meeting with with officials from the Canadian Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development on means of promoting bilateral and international cooperation in the artificial intelligence (AI) score.
The meeting tackled ways of supporting the Egyptian national strategy for AI.
Last week, Egypt participated in the Canada Arab Business Forum. Egypt has incorporated several steps to adopt digital transformation in different sectors as part of its reform program. Promising chances of cooperation between both Egypt and Canada were discussed during the meeting.
Canada enjoys a key position in the field of AI and its application in various development scores as it has pioneering educational and research institutions in this domain.
