CAIRO- 26 November 2020:  A charitable association in an Egyptian village in Gharbia governorate (Delta) launched an initiative to encourage people name their newborn children after Prophet Muhammad.

The charity announced that it has been allocated a monthly salary [LE 300] for one year for every newborn baby named after Prophet Muhammed, as a kind of appreciation and honor for the Prophet, Al-Watan newspaper reported.

The organizers said that the initiative aims at providing support to families who receive a new baby amid the financial and economic conditions due to the repercussions of the new coronavirus pandemic. They added that the initiative also aims at honoring Prophet Muhammad after the blasphemous campaign that launched in France to disorder the prophet’s prestige.

Also, the newborn babies named Mahmoud, Ahmed can receive the monthly salary.
