CAIRO – 8 November 2020: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will receive his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian on Sunday in Cairo, according to a statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday.

 

Both Ministers would discuss the bilateral ties and the international and regional issues of mutual concern.

 

Late September 2020, Shoukry and Le Drian in Jorday agreed on the necessity to secure the legitimate interests of the Palestinian people, as they met on the sidelines of a quadripartite ministerial meeting on developments in the Palestinian issue.

 

The meeting which was held on Thursday between the foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, France and Germany aimed at advancing peace efforts in the Middle East, in light of latest developments in the Palestinian issue.
