CAIRO - 30 October 2020: EgyptAir Holding Company Chairman Mohamed Roshdy Zakaria said Thursday that The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has again granted EgyptAir Company for Ground Services the certificate of Safety Auditors for Ground Operation (ISAGO) without mentioning any notices.

Zakaria's remarks were made at a ceremony to announce IATA‘s decision in the presence of a galaxy of senior EgyptAir officials.

He extended thanks to all the company staff for the efforts they have exerted to reach this result after IATA’s inspection of the company’s ground services.

Zakaria also praised the human cadres in the company and their competitive spirit which enables them to operate in various work conditions.

Meanwhile, Chairman of EgyptAir for Ground Services Magdy Mohamadien said the inspection results of IATA were very positive, adding that the review included the Ground Services and its affiliate companies since the arrival of passengers up till boarding the plane. The inspection also covered the security, cargo handling and shipment services.

He stressed that international accreditation certificates contribute to luring more foreign and Arab aviation companies to seek EgyptAir’s ground services, noting that the national carrier has 135 customers of major airlines.

IATA’s Safety Audit of Ground Operations (ISAGO) program is an internationally recognized system for assessing the operational management and control systems of an organization that provides ground handling services for airlines.
