Senators take constitutional oath during opening session of 1st legislative term in Egypt

CAIRO, Oct 18 (MENA) - Members of the Senate took on Sunday the constitutional oath during the opening session of the first legislative term.

The session was chaired by the most senior senator.

The session began after securing the quorum in parliament sittings.

The Senate's secretariat general has taken all required precautionary measures, including maintaining social distancing in arranging members' seats in preparation for the convocation of the session.
