UAE citizens allowed to conduct PCR test only upon arrival to Dubai

CAIRO – 3 October 2020: The UAE citizens who arriving in Dubai are exempted from a PCR test prior to departure regardless of the destination they come from or time spent there, according to the latest amendments to travel protocols in Dubai by Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis & Disaster Management on Saturday.
 
 
 
“Citizens will only be required to undergo a PCR test upon arrival to Dubai,” the committee announced in its statement.
 
 
 
“For residents and tourists, a PCR test is mandatory prior to departure for Dubai. Furthermore, departure protocols state that a PCR test prior to departure is mandatory only for passengers traveling to a destination that requires a pre-travel negative test certificate,” the statement read.
