CAIRO - 27 September 2020: A total of 68 minors detained during riots last week have been released upon a Sunday decision by Egypt’s attorney-general.

They were released after their guardians pledged that they would look after them, take good care of them, not allow them to commit such acts again, and not to expose them to danger like that in the future.

Meanwhile, the case investigated by the the Supreme State Security Prosecution is still ongoing.

The Muslim Brotherhood TV channels had ferociously been calling for rioting on Friday, but few people responded.
