The doctors said that a scan of his stomach showed a strange thing inside, and that Hassan claimed it is a mobile phone that he swallowed several months ago. When the doctors removed the thing during the surgery, they thought it was a piece of hashish (drugs) due to the way of its wrapping.

The doctors called the police to unwrap the thing, and they were surprised to find out it is a mobile phone.

Hassan, 28, comes from a small village in Qalubiya governorate. He is currently receiving medical care after the surgery.
