Egypt records 212 COVID-19 cases, 14 deaths

CAIRO - 30 August 2020: Egypt recorded, Saturday, 212 new coronavirus cases, upping the total number of confirmed cases to 98497.

In a statement, Spokesman for the Health Ministry Khaled Megahed said 14 patients have died from the virus over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 5376.


As many as 883 patients were discharged from isolation hospitals after receiving necessary medical care, taking the number of recovered cases to 71302 so far, the spokesman said.
